The sequence
Number, line, window, stamp.
A map session has an order because mixing seasons in one hour produces a wedge that is average in three ways.
We read the bounce number with a gauge, not a memory. Then we trace camber with a straightedge and lamp from the plaza-side window.
You name a primary turf window: freeze, thaw, or Pine Bush. We map for that window. Secondary windows are a second stamp, not a compromise mark in the middle.
Piet inks the square on the wall map. If the square is already crowded, we talk about whether you need a second sole.
